The nuclear reactor itself is designed to start and sustain a nuclear chain reaction with some radioactive material, which is a constant supply of energy via heat. This heat is then used to power steam turbines, which power the generators that create the electricity.

You need to find Uranium and once you mine it, the Uranium 235 mnust be extracted and processed before it can be used as fuel. Once it is extracted fission will take place and the nuclei will split conducting energy or power. ;)

-- In a steel can, put together some kind of a pile of uranium that can get hot

without exploding.

-- Pump water through pipes around the can, to take the heat away from the uranium.

-- Pump the water slow enough so that it gets really hot, like it's ready to boil.

-- As soon as it comes out of the pipe and starts boiling, have another pipe there

for the steam to boil into.

-- Blow the steam through the vanes of a turbine that's hooked up to an electric generator.

When the steam turns it, it generates electricity.

What are the workers at nuclear power plants called?

I don't think it is much different to those working in conventional power plants, but one additional type of duty is Radiation Health Physics, which is not needed except on nuclear plants

nuclear fission

Can nuclear power be generated as needed?

If enough nuclear plants are built, yes

What is the source of energy in nuclear power plants?

The source of energy in almost all nuclear power plants is fission or the splitting of the atom. There are a few experimental fusion power plants, (or the joining of the atoms), but, there are few of them, since the energy needed to produce fusion is extremly high, and only last a few seconds. Around 99.99% of nuclear power plants are fission power plants.

Power plants produce energy by the process of nuclear?

fission.

How is nuclear energy used to produce electricity?

Nuclear energy, or nuclear power, uses exothermic nuclear processes to produce electricity. Nuclear power plants provide around 10% of the world's electricity.

What energy do nuclear power plants create?

They use nuclear energy to produce power for the grid.

What of plant is needed to produce more plants?

Generally ripe fruits with viable seeds are needed to produce more plants conventionally. In vegetatively propagated plants like sugarcane, stems and suckers are needed to produce more plants. Nowadays with tissue culture technique, we can produce thousands of plants from a small portion of shoot apex of a plant.
