Once you have done this, try to develop a personal relationship with your heavenly father, through reading his word (Bible), praying ( personal encounter with God), and you will probably find useful to turn aside from your old ways and find like-minded people to fellowship with (Bible teaching church).
After this, it's all about working out your own salvation with fear and trembling, knowing that the love of God never fails and He will never leave you nor forsake you so when you will be absent from the body, you will indeed be close to Him (in heaven).

∙ 13y agoThe seven steps to heaven are what christens believe you need to do before you may enter heaven. they are, hear, believe, repent ,confess, be baptized, live a faithful life. I do not have time to write them all, but you get the point, being good! :D

∙ 9y agoThe beliefs about this vary, depending on the religion - and ultimately, it is up to you to decide what you want to believe; perhaps what belief you find more logical, etc. In general, to go to heaven, such beliefs require you to be good to other people, or to obey certain other laws (which, of course, vary depending on the religion), or (in the case of many Christian denominations) simply to believe in Christ.
