Official English PCSX2 configuration guide v0.9.8 has been added as a related link and while still in beta form it is consider to be the best PS2 emulator. It still requires the PS2 bios to work and you must download those from your PS2 for it to legally be run.

∙ 12y agoFirst you have to set up the emulator for the PS2 game then you have to download the game into a file on your PC. It is not a simple process and the best working emulator the PCSX2 takes some computer knowledge and skill to set up. A few links have been added to the related links
As can be seen from the compatibility related link for PCSX2 not all games are playable and one that is playable "You can get from 'new game' to 'end credits'. This is regardless of FPS, it simply means you could with a great deal of patience, complete the game! eg: Slow, but stable!" is considered playable is done so as defined by the quote, not quite like playing a PS2 where playable is defined as not having problems in playing and completing the game
