depend on the degree and location of the obstruction. Partial or off-and-on intestinal obstruction due to adhesions may result in intermittent periods of painful abdominal cramping and other symptoms, including diarrhea
I would recommend the person take soil-based probiotics (SBOs) on a regular basis. Humans need these probiotics because we are actually in a symbiotic relationship with them. However, they are pretty much missing in foods grown in soils sprayed with pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, etc. Our intestinal tract does not work properly without probiotics present. They clean the bowel, help with regular movements and aid in the absorption of vitamins, minerals, suplements and food. They stimulate the immune system and help to fight pathological molds, yeast, fungus, viruses and parasites. The list of what they do for us goes on and on. I personally would look for brands that contain bacteria in the Bacillus family (i.e. Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus lichenformis) as they are very powerful and are not harmed by the stomach acid when you take them.
