Gender Identity, gender role, and sexual orientation
Sexual identity, sexual orientation, and sexual expression are the three aspects of sexual self-definition. Sexual identity refers to how an individual personally identifies in terms of their gender and sexual orientation, while sexual orientation relates to an individual's romantic and sexual attraction to others. Sexual expression encompasses the behaviors and preferences an individual engages in to express their sexuality.
