The 1987 Nissan cylinder had bolt torque specification is 140 pounds. The cylinder head bolts should be torqued in 45 pound intervals.

For the Z24i and KA24 engines, the "cylinder head to front cover" torque specification is 3 to 8 foot-pounds (or 4 to 10 Nm)
