Market Garden (Truck farm) - Produces vegetables
Tree farms - Produces tree's for lumber, transplant and decoration
Fish farm - Produces fish for consumer/ food use
Orchard - Produces fruit and nuts
Vineyard - Produces grapes
Plantation - produces cotton, sugar and tobacco
There are several types of farms including dairy farms and animal farms. Other types of farms include crop farms, tree farms, fish farms, and poultry farms. Larger farms where they grow tobacco, coffee, and cotton are called plantations.
Farming, integrated farming systems, and pure organic farming are the types of organic farming. Integrated nutrient and pest management characterize farming whereas local-resource, low-input recycling to include fish, goat, mushroom and poultry components distinguish integrated farming systems. Pure organic farming focuses upon the use of bio-pesticides and organic manures for edible, ornamental, wildflowering and woody plant production.
There is animal farming where they are used for milk or meat.Crop farming where the crops are used for human food or animal feed.
