Brazil is the largest country in South America and is made up of mostly flat rolling lowlands in north. There are some plains, hills, mountains ( the highest being Pico da Neblina 3,014 m) and narrow coastal zone.

Technically, there are 5 physical regions in Brazil: Guiana Highlands, Amazon Basin, Central Highlands (Planalto), Atlantic Coastal Plain, Pantanal.
