These finalists were the Acropolis of Athens (Athens, Greece), Alhambra (Granada, Spain), Eiffel Tower (Paris, France), Hagia Sophia (Istanbul, Turkey), Neuschwanstein Castle (Füssen, Germany), Red Square (Moscow, Russia), and Stonehenge (Amesbury, United Kingdom).

Because they are grandiuos. They are about 4600 years old. They are part of the World Heritage and the only remaining piece of the Seven Wonders of ancient world. Its stones are about two tons each and you just can't figure out how they could move them without cranes or things like that.
