The Jews were blamed for everything wrong in the world. Especially in Germany there were many Jew shops which gave German people no jobs so Hitler chose that moment to blame the Jews for germanys economic problems. Later it lead to more things like for not doing well in the war etc...

the Jew's where not neccersarly blamed for anything in world war 2, they where however blamed for killing Jesus and up until the point where Hilter took power it was a good life for them all over Europe . Hitler wanted to make a new "pure" German and soon as he took power he developed Nazis and invaded Poland not yet killing Jew's he forced them out of there homes and put them in labor camps and concentration camps killing them off one by one first then in stages . biggest mass murder in the history of the world, and not just towards Jews , gays and anyone considered to be gay and Gipsy's where involved in this just so Hitler could form a perfect human , which his standards where blonde hair and blue eyes and that where morally perfect, in the end they where defeated and Hitler shot himself because no ones perfect.

Jews have been blamed for many different things by many different people, over the past thousand years or so. It would actually be simpler to ask what Jews have not been blamed for.

Recently there was an earthquake in Iran, not far from the nuclear research facility, and the government of Iran officially stated that the earthquake had been caused by Jewish sorcerers (who apparently were just slightly off in their aim).

The Catholic Church, until 1964, officially blamed Jews for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (which according to The Bible was done by Roman soldiers, not Jews). It was also widely believed, during the middle ages, that any time a Christian child was missing, that child must have been stolen by Jews, who were (ridiculously) believed to use the blood of Christian children as an ingredient in their matzoh (which is a type of cracker, similar to a saltine). Jews were blamed for plagues and illness of all sort. Adolf Hitler, who blamed Jews for virtually everything that he did not like, made a particular point that Jews had sabotaged the German war effort during WW I and caused Kaiser Wilhelm to lose the war (although the historical reality is that Jews have generally been loyal and patriotic citizens of whatever nation they have lived in).

It should be noted that some people in contemporary America, such as the late Reverend Jerry Falwell, who in earlier periods would have blamed all things on the Jews, have begun to blame homosexuals instead. However, many people still feel that all the ills of the world are caused by Jews. Or possibly by Illuminati. Possibly by gay Jewish Illuminati. One never knows.
