Because a flag is supposed to have the stars facing forward. When it comes to a US flag by itself, that would mean the stars are on the left where they will be considered facing forward. But when it comes to a military uniform, forward is the direction that the Soldier is facing. So on the right arm the flag will have to be reversed in order for the stars to face forward.
I have no idea why
The US Military consisted of: US Navy US Marine Corps US Army The US Coast Guard was also a part of the defense structure. The Air Force didn't exist until after World War 2.
I have no idea why
No - the U.S.Navy, Army, and Air Force have their own Judge Advocate General (JAG) staff corps; the U.S. Marine Corps and the Coast Guard do not maintain their own separate staff corps, but have their own legal divisions. The Marine Corps Judge Advocate Division, the Marines' legal arm, falls under the JAG of the Navy; the Coast Guard's equivalent is their CG Legal Division. Each branch corps or division specializes in prosecuting/defending cases within their own branch. One major difference in Marine Corps lawyers is that unlike their staff officer counterparts in the other branches, they are full line officers, meaning they can fill any officer position (combat or otherwise) in the Fleet Marine Force.
you will wear a cast or a brace
Etiquette does not dictate which arm to wear a watch. This is mostly a matter of preference but most people find it comfortable to wear it on the left arm.
The arm you don't write with
A Sergeant has three stripes in the US military and a Corporal has two (if the stripes are located on the upper arm). If the stripes are located on the lower arm and are better described as slashes (just above the wrist) those are indicators of time in the service. Each slash represents 3 years in the Army and 4 years per slash in the Marine Corps.
Pink is not used on any known National flag. it was the color of arm of servces for the Corps of Engineers in Germany in World War II there would be pink collar-facings, piping around epaulets, etc. the custom of color of arm of service never caught on in the US due mainly to cheaper branch badges such as wings, tank insignia, etc. made of metallic substances and pinned on the uniform.
The Apollo 11 Moon landing and subsequent moon landings by the Americans have used a cloth flag with an aluminium post and support arm. The support arm suspends the flag horizontally. Since there is no atmosphere on the moon if it didn't the flag would always be seen furled.
That's no so easy to answer. The Army has the largest ground branch. However, the Navy has a subordinate ground branch (the Marine Corps), an air arm, plus a sea arm. The Air Force has the largest air arm of all the branches. The Navy and Air Force both have the capacity to launch nuclear weapons. They all have their strengths in their respective areas.
