The Constitution of the United States of America is made up of a preamble and seven articles. It is the first article that defines the powers and limits of the Legislative branch of the government. The second article of the Constitution defines the powers of the Executive branch of government, and the third article of the Constitution defines the powers of the Judicial branch of government.
The 7 main parts of the US Constitution are called Articles, and each deals with a specific portion of the federal government or the Constitution itself: Article I - The Legislative Branch (Congress) Article II - The Executive Branch (President and departments) Article III - The Judicial Branch (US federal courts) Article IV - The States powers in relation to the federal government Article V - Amending the Constitution Article VI - Application of the Constitution (supreme law of the land) Article VII - Ratification of the Constitution

Article II of the Constitution deals mainly with the powers and duties of the President who heads the executive branch of the US government.

Article 3 deals with powers and rights of the Judicial Branch. Anything dealing with Senators can be found is the 1st articles.
Article 2
Article One of the United States Constitution establishes the legislative branch of the federal government, the United States Congress. Article Two creates the executive branch of the government, consisting of the President, the Vice President, and other executive officers and staffers appointed by the President, including the Cabinet. Article Three establishes the judicial branch of the federal government.
The first three articles created the three branches of government. In Article one a Congress is established, in Article two the Executive branch is created, and in Article three the judiciary branch is established.
