What attracts more a hot magnet or a cold magnet?
A cold magnet attracts more than a hot magnet. This helps the flow of electricity which therefore helps the electric field, which therefore helps the magnetic field. They use cold magnets to power the LHC which collides hydrogen atoms. Obviously the cold magnet is very attracting.
what is most attracted to a magnet
the cold magnet has more electrons that move more freely and the hot magnet has less electrons that move less freely
A hot magnet has more internal motion causing the magnetic domains to be less aligned.
the magnet that works better is the cold magnet
yes becase u need it
No, a hot magnet is stronger than a cold magnet. This was my Science Fair project as a fifth grader. We all can get different results. It can depend on what brand of magnet you have, and how strong that company made their magnet
is a hot magnet shorter or weaker than a cold magnet
There's no relationship there. But if you take any permanent magnet and heat it hot enough, it loses some or all of its magnetism.
It would last longer in cold weather because heating causes a magnet to lose its magnetism.
Because it loses it's strengths in hot water and gains strength in cold water.
more kinetic energy. The hotter the substance the faster the particles are moving and the more heat energy it has
More hot then cold... But really more warm
Heat and cold both make magnets stronger, but cold temperatures make magnets stronger than heat does. Actually, oly cold temperature make magnets stronger, you can actually try, hold one little magnet on your hand for like 30 seconds or something and you can realize that your magnet is really less stronger Unfortunately this guy is wrong ^^^^^^ Cold makes a magnet stronger and heat can actually take its magnetic domains away. When a magnet is… Read More
hot water has more volume than cold water
Hot things have more energy than cold one.
cold air exerts more pressure than hot air
alignment in turbines use magnet dialgades and make mesuring 00.o1 micrones
Hot water can hold more salt ions than cold water, so "hot" is your answer.
HOT AIR HAS GREATER VOLUME THAN COLD AIR.................. It is because hot air is less dense than cold air which means it occupies MORE volume per unit mass than cold air. Hot materials contain more energy than cold materials so hot air expands... For example: I have 5 kilograms of cold air and 3 kilograms of hot air. Which have greater volume? Of course, cold air have more volume because it has more mass, and… Read More
The more hot air comes than cold air and the hot air takes more space
Cold water is more dense than Hot water because the molecules in cold water are closer together than hot water molecules.
Does the strength of a magnet become affected when subjected to different degrees of hot and cold temperatures?
A. A magnet has a Curie Point, a temperature beyond which it is no longer a magnet. Identified by Marie Curie. This property is used in items such as toaster timers. As far as I know there is no low temperature limit.
It is because cold water is more dense than hot water, thus hot water floats on cold water
yes 1 mole hot air have more volume then cold air
yes it does affect magnets ! though cold has little effect on the properties of a magnet , but heat drastically brings about change in properties of a magnet. With increasing temperature, the magnet will gradually lose magnetization until a certain temperature (called the Curie temperature) where the magnetization goes away entirely. In addition to this effect, the domains of the magnet will have a greater chance of changing orientation, further weakening the overall magnetic… Read More
Chilly. It's more towards cold than hot.
Australia is more of a hot place than a cold place.
a hot wire has more resistance then a cold wire.
It is cool and wet for the most of the part of the year and attracts many tourists because of this. In the summer it's not too hot. In the winter it's not too cold.
If it is a magnet, then it can still attract to a refrigerator. If it is a lump of hot metal or hot ceramic, then only gravity will provide attraction. The curie temperature describes when it goes from being a magnet to being a lump.
Hot air has more capacity than cold air (Air expands on heating.
Like most (but not all !) salts they are more soluble in hot than in cold water.
In depends upon how hot you are talking about. Cold would be my best answer in general. If you are comparing the magnetism between say 10 below zero and 100 F then there would be no discernable difference. If you should heat the metal to red-hot, the magnetism would be lost after the metal has cooled.
hot water contains more energy than cold water. cold water causes the water molegules to vibrate more.
because hot chocolate is hot and cold chocolate milk is cold. LOL i need a real awnser
NO,because the hot soda has more pressure on the can than cold does becasue hot air expands.
A hot object emits more radiation from each unit of its surface area than a cold one does.
wow what a question!! well i don't know but hot air rises so cold would probably weigh more..
The density of cold water is greater than hot water so there will be more substances that will float in it.
Entropy is the measure of disorderness. Hot water --> more energy --> less stable --> more disorderness (than Cold water). Therefore, Entropy of Hot water is greater than that of Cold water.
The difference to your question is that a hot desert has more reptilian life compared to a cold desert due to the loss of heat. the difference is that cold desserts have snow and hot desserts have more sand and more animals and rain
Hot Water extinguishes more effectively than cold water as it has a higher specific heat capacity than cold water.
No. Cold air is more dense than hot air.
A tropical rain forest is more cold that hot but contains some heat as well.
More hot than cold. At night in the mountains you do need a sleeping bag; or a jacket if up and about.
Gases are more soluble in cold water.
Cold weather puts more strain on a battery than hot weather.
Hot because when the ball is hot it has more pressure as if it were cold then it would be kind of flat. :)
Hot water can hold more sugar.
