What are the bad things that King John did?

King John makes people think that he is bad because of Disney. The truth is that he wasn't that bad, yes he did lose the Avegein empire (the english empire in France) and yes he did tax people heavily. He let people kill priests he got excommunicated and others. But like all other people King John is a human being. He built libraries wherever he would go, he would travel around the country (something that many Kings wouldn't do) he increased the navy's power too. So it is all Propaganda.

He took everyones money by raising the taxes. He spent all of the money on war and usually lost too. He fought against the Pope and ended up with an Interdict meaning nobody could get married, christened or have funerals and everyone would go to hell (this was a VERY bad thing then), He killed his own nephew for the throne, He signed the magna carter and broke all of its rules, he stole the noble men's land and made them outlaws, he put innocent people in jail so he could have their land and many other thing!
