There aren´t best berry to make poffins, it depends of the pokémon you give the poffin and how to make poffin (make the poffin super fast and don't let it burn or overflow, and you will made a very good poffin).

I can make level 44 poffins! The way to get good poffins is a good berry, and a lot of people. The best berries to use are the rarest ones, like the legendary ones. These are the berries #53 - #64. Here's a list:

When you are making a poffin, click on it and say "check tag". It will show you how sweet, bitter, sour, spicy and so on. if it is more sour than any other, it will be a sour poffin.

Try wiki berries, they are very good, but it's A LOT EASIER to get them in platinum.
