Bees can accommodate to most climates, but they will not leave the hive if it is too cold (below about 57oF/14oC), so the summer must have significant periods warmer than this in order for the bees to be able to forage. by Hippo
Bees are at their best in temperate or sub-tropical climates, but there are bees in the tropics. There are no bees where the climate is too cold for them or for the flowers they need for food.
There are around 20,000 known bee species, only 7 recognized honey bee species. They're noted for their ability to produce "Honey" (liquefied sugar) and wax. Biomes consist of hives made by the bees, or if domesticated made by man.
Bees live in almost any climate but they wont leave their hive if it's below 57 degrees fahrenheit.
