They protect oragans. the ribs protect the heart and lungs, and the pelvis or hip bone protects the bladderlymph nodes and lower colon.
Simply put there are two areas of your body that have a protective box of bones, the ribs form the rib cage which protects your heart and lungs and your skull protects your brain.
All bones offer some protective function but specifically the skull protects the brain, the ribs protect the heart and lungs and the vertebral column protects the spinal cord.
well this is what i got out of my textbook: they protect internal organs : )
skull protects the brain
ribs the heart,lungs,
pelvic bones bladder and in females the reproductive organs
your ribcage, and your skull

organs
The skin protects the bones and the bones protect the organs in the body.
To maintain structure to the body, to move the body, to protect other organs ( yes, bones are considered an organ ), and to produce red and white blood cells, and to store minerals.
Epidermis is just skin. It protects your bones.
the three jobs of the cartilage are to protect our bones, to shape our body, and to make us flexible
The main job of the skeleton is to provide support for our body. Without your skeleton your body would collapse into a heap. Your skeleton is strong but light. Without bones you'd be just a puddle of skin and guts on the floor.
Skull bones protect your brain.
Bones support and protect your body. Without bones, you would be a giant pile of plop. :) Bones also protect your inner organs such as your heart,( protected by ribs) or your brain (protected by skull). Skin also protects your insides as well..... if I am correct... The immune system and skin protect the body from microbes and germs.
skin is used to protect the bones from any harm
The shape and the way bones are positiined
Skull protect brain
It will protect our head in our human body.

The skin protects the bones and the bones protect the organs in the body.
Bones hold you up. Without them you'd be a floppy jellyfish. Your bones also help to protect the soft parts inside your body.
They support the body and protect the fragile organs.
To maintain structure to the body, to move the body, to protect other organs ( yes, bones are considered an organ ), and to produce red and white blood cells, and to store minerals.
All the bones are important in our body. Each protect one or the different parts in our body, like skull protects the brain; ribs protect lungs; and it is not always about protection, but also about supporting system, like the spine supports and protects the spinal cord.
