German Luger pistols before 1902 used a proprietary 7.65mm bottleneck cartridge, sometimes referred to as .30 Luger in US.
After 1902 Lugers used the 9mm round, also commonly known as 9mm Para (Parabellum) and 9mm Luger.
Most likely it would of been a caliber, probably a 32 PPK but him and Eva did it together.
Around $300.00.
What caliber of man are you looking for? What caliber of gun are you looking for?
The word "caliber" refers to the diameter of the internal bore of a gun or firearm barrel.
value depends on condition. good is not excellent nor is excellent MINT. it's very hard for a layman to really report the condition of a gun. at this point I would guess (if excellent) between $1,000 & $2,000. go to: simpsonltd.com (a luger site) I'm sure he would need detail pics of your luger to make a 'guess' at possible worth......
Usually 9mm. However some earlier Lugers were chambered for the 30 caliber Luger.
luger production ceased about 1942. the P38 took over as the German military pistol during WW2..................any luger made after WW2 were after market pistols.
No. The Luger was a 9mm gun and the 50 Desert Eage is a 50 caliber gun. The 9mm round would fall out of the barrel, and if you did manager to get it to fire, you could damage the gun and/or hurt yourself.
The most common hand-gun caliber used to be 9mm Luger. Recently I bought a pistol and took a self-defense course. Now it seems the most popular caliber is the.40 Caliber Smith and Wesson.********There are popular, and there are most common. The most common gun caliber is .22 rimfire, in terms of the total number sold.

The Luger P08 was the side arm used by the German Army for both World War 1 and World War 2. The pistol was deisgned by George Luger and went into production in 1908, thus Pistol 08 or P08. The design had a unique toggle receiver mechanism. The gun has only 2 screws and they hold on the wood grips. This design uses close tolerance, sliding mechanisms that does not withstand dirt and grime. That is why the Luger holster completely encloses the pistol.
38 caliber hand gun
It is a collectable gun. Stay with factory normal pressure loads.
