What can a thirteen year-old girl that weighs 253 pounds do to lose weight besides exercising?

there are a lot of things that can help you loose weight. Find the right amount of calories to eat every day is very important. You can't over eat or under eat (both are bad obviously). after you do this, I suggest eating a very healthy breakfast, lunch, and then a light dinner (remember the quality of your food is important, so don't be eating a days worth of calories of oreos and think your going to be healthy...you might be skinny after you loose the weight, but not healthy). also, look at the calories of each serving. You have to be careful, because some foods try to hide the fact that a food isn't healthy. Teenagers consume 2-3 POUNDS of sugar each week, so you have to be careful with sugars, fats, and calories if you want to loose weight. Unfourtunatly, there really is no other way to loose weight without exersise. you can eat healthy and still loose a small amount of weight, but it would help you SO much more if you exercise. If you simply can't stand exercising, then go outside and play a sport, take a walk, play with your dog or anything that involves moving and being active (hint: you don't have to be athletic to play a sport as long as your moving...trust me, I'm not good in sports and I can still do it). as long as you keep moving and eat right, you'll loose weight.

p.s. there is this new game that just came out called: Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009 (for Wii). you could try that if you have a Wii and a wii balance board. Hope this helps!
