You have to approach this logically, if it is getting fuel then it might be the electrical side of the system. The easiest check is to see if the spark plug wires are connected securely and in the proper order. Next, see if there is a spark being produced at the spark plug. This can be checked with a spark checking tool available at the parts house. If it is getting a spark and fuel, then you would have to check the timing belt. It not only has to be installed and working, it also has to be timed correctly. I hope this was helpful. It could just be that the battery is totally busted or you need a new engine. It could also be that the transmission really needs to be changed. It could just be that the battery is totally busted or you need a new engine.
