∙ 12y agoi dont know but i have weekley mouth swab drug tests and since i stoped taking diazipam 6 weeks ago i am still getting positive results. can anybody give me a clue to what is happening. iam taking methadone and anadin extra capsules and multi vitimin centrum silver complete from a to zinc. if any one has answers i would much appreciate it as you can imagine this is driving me crazy as i know i have not taken it but my drug worker wont accept there is a possibility. thank you.

· Cocaine -- Includes Cocaine, Crack and Benzoylecognine
· Cannabinoids -- Includes Marijuana and Hash
· Amphetamines -- Includes Speed, Methamphetamines and amphetamines
· Opiates -- Includes Heroin, Opium, Codeine and Morphine
· Phencyclidine -- PCP
and Prescription medications
Also many test includes additional drugs such as:
· Barbiturates
· Hydrocodone
· Mehqualone
· Benzodiazepines
· Methadone
· Propoxyphene
· Ethanol
· MDMA or Ecstasy
Drugs that can be tested for, but are not commonly tested for include:
· LSD
·Alcohol
· Tryptamines
· Phenethylamines
· Inhalants

∙ 12y agoIf it tested positive for opiates and you have not used any, there have been cases that indicate you can get false positives if you routinely eat a lot of poppy seeds and especially a whole lot before the testing. Opiate drugs are made from poppy plants, the seeds sold for use in cooking can register on the tests even though they do not really contain more than traces of the opiates, but the amount usually used in recipes or on breads isn't really enough to do that, you would have to be eating a LOT. If it were another type of drug that was positive, it depends on the drug that proved positive what might have caused that positive finding.
Contact buzz if you were around someone smoking marijuana and that is what was positive on the test. Apart from that, you wouldn't get a false positive on pot.
Aspirin will show up as cocaine. Cold medicine will show up as methamphetamines.

Several things can give a false positive on initial screening tests. However, if this happens to you, insist on being retested; there are more sensitive tests that basically don't give false positives and can confirm for certain that you're "clean".
