Depends on when it was cancelled. Before or after the accident? When did you get the cancellation notice? If you were cancelled before, then obviously you were uninsured. If the accident was your fault, then any costs are yours alone and not the insurance company's.

If your 16-year-old daughter causes a small accident with no injury how much will your rates go up or will the family policy be cancelled?

They shouldn't cancel your plan I was in an accident when I was 16 and we kept the same insurance. As for how much it goes up depends on which insurance company you have.

Who pays when both partys have the same ins?

If both parties that are involved in an accident have the same insurance, the party who is responsible for the accident would have to pay. Even if they are on the same insurance plan, it is like both of them paying.

Will insurance cover an accident that occured at 730 a.m if the policy was bought the same day at 1130 I was recently in an accident and literally in the middle of switching insurance companies.?

No, but if you were switching companies, hopefully you didn't cancel the 1st one before the 2nd one took effect. Your first company should cover it if it wasn't cancelled yet.

You get auto insurance for accident prone drivers the same way as normal drivers. You will need to provide relevant car details and your driving history information and then receive insurance policy quotes. Insurance premiums for accident prone drivers are generally much higher.

How many points is an unsafe lane change ticket in ca?

This is normally 1 point for this type of violation unless there also was an accident involved at the same time. If there was an accident you will be charged 4 points for the total on your driving record but only 3 points for your insurance record with most insurance companies.

What happens when a car hits you and they have the same insurance as you?

It would be no difference than if the people involved in the accident had different insurance companies. The coverages are the same so there would be no difference.

If you got auto insurance coverage and were in an accident the same day what is the coverage for a claim?

Insurance is VERY specific when it comes to when coverage starts. If you had the accident BEFORE you got insurance any damage sustained before you purchased the policy damage would not be covered. If you had an accident after the purchase of the policy then any damages would be covered.

Insurance is defined as financial restitution in the case of an accident or claim to put you back in the same financial position you were in before the accident. insurance risks are things like where you live .. and how old you are, or things like if you have a burgalar alarm.. or if you have a flood every year.. that's a bit insurance risk...
