- It all depends on what you did to your cousin. Give it some time to let things cool down and often maturity will take care of past arguments. There is nothing you can do at this point in time to make it up to your cousin because the hurt is still fresh in his memory. Get on with your life and in a few more months try to apologize again to your cousin.
