silk worms and they have a good source of protein and other healthy things. Plus crickets smaller than your leopard geckos head and you can feed your leopard gecko Wax worms but it's not healthy to feed your gecko Wax worms daily they don't have a stable diet!!!!! Also if you are going to feed crickets to the leopard gecko it has to be a size as big as in between their eyes.
This depends on the size of the gecko. If you have a baby, you need to feed it pinhead crickets and as it grows, you get bigger crickets to feed it. Feed the animal by placing 3-7 crickets coated in calcium in the terrarium.
Leopard geckos can be fed a staple diet consisting of insects including crickets, mealworms, grasshopers, and any viable inscet that is no bigger than the width of the geckos head. Insects should be dusted with vitamin and calcium supplements every other feeding for adults and every feeding for growing babies and juvies. Adult leopard geckos should be fed every 2-3 days, and baby's and juvies should be fed daily. Waxworms and pinkie's (baby mice without fur) are very fattening, and should rarely be offered to geckos as to avoid obesity, and/or fatty liver disease. Pinkie mice are usually only offered to females in preparation to breed as they need a higher body weight to produce eggs. Many people believe that geckos are purely insectivorous, however in the wild they will eat anything they can overpower, including mice. Gutloading insects with nutritious grains, seeds, oats and fruits/vegetables is crucial to supplying proper nutrition to a gecko. Never leave extra insects roaming in the gecko's cage as they can bite the gecko and cause infection.
You don't. Just put the crickets in the cage, and maybe a little piece of dog or cat food, to keep them from biting your leo. If your leopard gecko is not getting fatter, call your vet, because your leopard gecko may have a disease.
They will eat a variety of small insects and grubs - such as... crickets, grasshoppers and mealworms. They prefer to hunt the food themselves - and rarely accept dead food. If you have already bought your lizard - without doing any research into its diet - you need to get some research material NOW - to save you doing something that will shorten its life !
Reptiles are specialist animals - there is NO excuse for failure to research the upkeep of such animals BEFORE you get one !
Species of day gecko rely on a variety of fruits, saps, pollens and nectars. It is best to purchase a MRP (meal replacement powder) as a stable source of diet for almost all day gecko species. This powder is most commonly manufactured by Repashy.

So, only feed your Leopard Gecko 3 times a day, in the morning, in the evening, and in the night. If your Leopard Gecko refuses to eat it store the wax worm back into its container.
