Or raw mince meat, chicken, worms, insects (small cockroaches, flies, beetles etc.) or melon. But whatever your turtle eats, make sure it has enough calcium.
Feeding my turtle cooked chicken worked, while i couldn't get food from a pet store but when you can reach a pet store i recomend dried shrimp and aqua turtle fish pellets.
lettuce, turtle food pellets, or fruit.
They can eat meat, but I feed my painted turtles turtle pellets
in captivity you should feed a malayan box turtle commercil turtle pellets, greens and veggies. for protein you should feed them insects or earthworms.
Feed it a few pellets, a strawberry, or a few pieces of lettuce each day. If that is always gone, feed more. If it it's hardly touched feed it less. It depends on the size of the turtle.
Bloodworm!
Get a rock or a small turtle food dish and place lettuce, fruit, or pellets on the dish. Buy a pair and you can have one for water too.
ratite pellets, or ostrich pellets
For long term, yes. Turtle pellets are for turtles. Research your fish and their nutrition requirements thoroughly.
some people feed it a little every day. others feed it a whole bunch, then doesnt feed it for a week. best thing to do is to feed enough pellets to be the size of it's head, and feed it every 2 days. they can survive a long time without food.
Then your turtle will die.
what you do is you feed it 2 pellets every 3 days that is what my mom told me
Once Turtles Adapt to their home, id suggest Turtle/Reptile Pellets. i have 5 turtles and this is what i feed them. and if you want to keep them small, keep them in a medium-sized tank. ~The Turtle Expert
