I don't remember if 88's were EFI or carburated. If it's carburated, check the condition of the fuel pump. Once an older-style mechanical fuel pump starts to go bad, they tend to have a problem when they get hot. Also, check for fuel leakage when you turn off the engine. If fuel is leaking past a faulty throttle body injector or carbuater needle and seat INTO the intake manifold, it could be flooding the engine. The fuel could take a little time to evaporate before you could start it again.
Rotors are out of round, need to have them turned.
What would cause the engine not to restart when hot Chevy Trailblazer 2007?
probably got a bad IAC motor
There is not one, this is a Chevy not a ford.
your driving a Chevy Monte Carlo and your petrols been robbed
buy gas you retard buy gas
It's lean. Could be something plugged in the carb.
I would suspect a failing ignition control module.
check battery,starter voltage
The starter solenoid is sticking or stuck.
Timing belt.
most likely your battery is bad if it wont hold a charge unless there is a significant parasitic drain i have no clue on what causes the ticking noise
