Frequently in older vehicles, high humidity or rainy weather can cause poor performance, usually because of a problem in the ignition system. Moisture and condensation may be forming in the distributor. Also, the ignition (suppression) wires may be old and arcing from one cable to another, causing timing issues and misfire problems. That problem is aggravated by moisture and humidity.
What causes misfire 302, 304 and 306
A lot depends on when it is sputtering. Is it hesitating under acceleration? That is what happens most commonly in eclipses. It is probably a misfire in one of the cylinders. Change your plugs and wires.
What causes a car to jerk while driving can be based on many factors. A car can sputter due to engine compression issues, bad transmission, engine misfire, bad spark plugs or even low fuel.
Because it's an Audi and they suck!
sounds like a ignition breaking down from heat, scan codes good change ther is a cylinder misfire code. if plugs are old and have excessive gap this causes coils to work harder to jump a big gap the bigger the gap the coil has to produce more voltage a heat causing overload on coil
the gun powder ispacked to tightly and the preassure builds up and can cause it to misfire
In general (very loosely) a misfire can be a bad plug, wire or coil.
Try disconnection your MAF ( mass airflow sensor ) and if it doesn't sputter when you accelarate, it means your sensor is gonzo.
Time to replace seals, this usually causes misfire.
Yes, that and dozens of other causes.Yes, that and dozens of other causes.
Normally a vacuum leak.
A misfire will cause flames to come out of the carburettor
will the transmission causes my 1999 ford expedition to bog down & sputter when accelerating the 4.6liter engine.
Most common cause would be the plus wires. Dampness causes them to arc and the cylinder that the wire is arcing on won't fire causing a miss/sputter.
Driving to fast
p0302 is cylinder 2 misfire, you need to fix the cause of the misfire. Possible causes are plugs, coils, injectors......
coz you shud of gone to specsavers
what are the possible causes of misfire on number one cylinder in a dodge 2003 ram 4.7 liter engine
Spark plugs or Coil pack most likely
its the throttle position sensor
