Not engaging clutch completely speed shifting ( badly ) Gear grinding Downshifting at high revs shifting without the clutch Anytime the gears are forced together or grind the ears on the syncro are worn down and wont fit together smoothly
see if your shifter is bad or transmitoin is bad or gear fluid
The hub bearing can go bad and create noise.
the transmission is failling or starting to go bad so get it fixed or get a new transmission the transmission is going bad
Thermocycling.
The clutch is bad or out of adjustment.

There can be a few reasons for a catalytic converter to go bad. One of the causes could be clogs. Other reasons include plugs not working right, and bad exhaust valves.
If the car will go into second gear and take off, then there might be a bad syncro gear or bend shifter fork. The transmission may need to be taken out and inspected to find the problem.
They get soggy in damp weather.

if u have a manual transmission ur clutch is going out n u need to change it, if u have a automatic ur transmission is going bad and needs to be replaced
