if you care for them feed them and love on them they can live to be 8 - 10 years. but they can die at younger ages if you don't keep caring for them and keep them happy. and watch what you feed them some foods can be poisonous to piggies. Check their eyes and mouth for puss or mucus!! This can be a life-saver

∙ 6y agoI'm not sure how " most " die but i have three guinea pigs now and i had four. My fourth died. I put food she was very fat and it was unusual for her not to go to eat so i touched her and she was weak. I picked her up and she seisured in my arms. We think she died of old age. she lived to be 8 - 10 years old - WOW!
