The cause of the white bump on the tip of your tongue is, if your talking really fast you may accidentally bite your tongue and you may not notice it (I've done it plenty of times) and it's very annoying. Or if your eating and you bite your tongue, you may not be able to see it up close but it hurts! I call those lie bumps, Maybeh you should quit lying. Lol
im not sure what causes them although a myth that has come up time and time again is that they are caused by lying, ofcourse this is not true but i read somewhere that it may be a lack of vitamin b, i just usually suffer through them as they've never lasted longer than a week if your in pain try paracetamol or 'medijel' a cream you apply to the tongue that works like a local anasthetic.
hope i helped xxx

People who suffer from regular constipation have white bumps on their tongue. These white bumps are actually sores that develop over a period of time due to a weak digestive system. When the stools are not regularly passed or if the bowel movements are very difficult, it causes the body to heat up. Once body gets heated up, it results in soreness of the mouth and tongue eventually resulting in white bumps. This problem automatically vanishes when the constipation problem is resolved.
