It could be a lot of different things! It could be Infection, Stones, Injury, etc... Blood is never a good sign in a dog, unless it's when a female is in heat. Other than that, it's a warning sign, that something is wrong, and needs medical attention immediately! The vet will do some testing, to determine the exact cause of the blood, then properly and effectively treat it.
