What causes rocker arms to brake on a 1994 Saturn 1.9 lt engine?
Would a blown brake light fuse on 03 Saturn L200 cause gear shift to malfunction. How do you change fuse for brake lights on 03 Saturn?
There was a manufacturing problem with the original equipment brake light sockets which allowed many to fail prematurely. Saturn attempted to replace all of the brake light assemblies through a recall campaign. If your brake light assembly has not already been replaced, contact your local Saturn dealer.

Why would pressing the brake cause the engine to turn off on a Saturn SL2 1994 unless you remove the brake fuse and then the car will run fine and you can use the brakes.?
The brakes on the 1994 SC2 use a brake booster that uses vacuum from the intake manifold to assist with actuating the brakes. The brake booster is basically a big rubber diaphragm that amplifies the force on the brake pedal several times. If this rubber diaphragm tears, which will happen over many years, you will develop a vacuum leak that will cause the engine to run rough if small, and can cause the engine to…
Why does it sound like leaking air when you apply your brakes and the more pressure applied causes the car to stall?
That depends on how, when and where it is squealing. For example, if the brakes squeal when applied, the brake pads are probably worn down. A squeal from the engine compartment whenever the engine is running could be a loose serpentine belt (especially if the squeal changes a little when you rev the engine).
