Your turn signal switch is warn out or broken. Try moving your turn signal forward and back gently while holding the brake on and see if your brake lights come on or flicker. The plastic clips that hold the turn signal switch together brake off or just wear out and because the brake lights run through this switch they don't work.
The pin switch for your brakes are under the pedal arm. Try depressing it by hand to see if they come on as it is adjustable (threads controlling degree of compression on button) if that doesn't work jump it with a jumper wire to bypass and see if they come on. If they do-fix switch, if not check the rest of circuit.
On the turn signal lever, pull back to dip or raise lights.
how can i change the turn singal on a 1990 Chevy lumina
There is nothing wrong with the reverse lights. It is probably your turn signal switch. They are bad in the 1995 lumina. If you do it yourself it should cost about 100 bucks. Good Luck!!
Replace the signal flasher relay.
Yes, my uncle has a Chevy lumina and the headlights are always on,its andomatic
The 1990 Chevy Lumina signal flasher unit can be found beneath the drivers side dashboard. The signal flasher unit will be above the brake pedal.
Possible bad stop light switch located near the brake pedal.
It depends on the exact problem. If it's that both brake lights in the back do not work and the middle one works, it could be your turn signal switch.
hook back the horn 1994 chevolet lumina
its either a fuse, or the turn signal switch needs to be replaced
Did you change the bulb in the rear? Yes. The hazzard lights use the same bulbs in the rear as the turn signals. They work with the hazzards on but not with the turn signal.
Just had my turn signal switch replaced, for the second time, on my '98 Chevy Lumina. I paid $260 to a fairly trustworthy auto repair mechanic
