the window regulater has a nylon tape that runs the window up and down. the tape can be purchased fromm the parts store

A transmission fluid leak means that the plug may need to be replace, or the seal or gasket may need to be replace. As it could be caused by a work seal, or gasket, or a loose plug.
The high idle may be caused by old spark plugs and wires. As far as the temperature problem there are several things that may cause this, but the thermostat is the easiest and cheapest thing to check.
Low coolant level? Thermostat stuck in closed position? Water pump not circulating coolant? Cooling system airbound?

I would suspect the ECT (engine coolant temperature) sensor is at fault.

Check the fuses. If the fog lights are not factory original, someone may have overloaded a circut by adding them incorrectly. any frayed or broken wiring may need repair. try following the wires.
Check idle air control valve on throttle body. Mine had similer problems. A quick fix to get you going should be just unplug and remove spray w/ cleaner to get carbon off spring and cone shaft, reinstall. remember, this is just temporary.
