I get these little bumps pretty often. They feel as though there's something in my eye, like an eyelash or piece of dust. What they are, though, are infected meibomian glands. It's a minor condition and can usually be "cured" immediately by lifting the eyelid and gently scraping the bumps with a fingernail or more hygenically with a Q-tip to "pop" the tiny blister. In order to prevent the condition, try using eyedrops daily. I've found eyedrops that are specifically for allergy sufferers work best.
