What causes wind currents made?
Wind is caused by pressure differences in regions of air, and the pressure differences are due primarily to temperature fluctuations, and humidity. Areas that are hotter than their surroundings are at a higher pressure, and air moves from high pressure to low pressure. Hot air also tends to form near the ground, where the earth and plants and water trap solar energy and radiate heat into the air. The hot air rises, and also helps create wind.
ocean currents are partly driven by the wind, but also the motion of hot and cold water rising and falling and following the underlying terrain.

The combination of the movement of huge convection currents and the spinning of earth causes regional wind patterns?
Surface currents are caused by wind, and affected by the rotation of the Earth and the gravity of the moon (tides). When the oceans are deep, convection within the layers can also affect the flow of currents. * While wind currents are greatly affected by uneven heating of the Earth's surface, there is no corresponding heating of the ocean bottom by the Sun. So currents do not form spontaneously at depth.
