A few years back, my mother had the same problem. Her's turned out to be carpul (spl?) tunnel syndrome. Basically the cartiledge in her wrist was "choking" the nerves that led to her fingers. Because she does alot of repetetive motion such as typing and filing her only relief was very minor surgery on both wrists. She's had no problems at all since!

You can, but it's better to use your pointer and middle fingers.

Names are done by fingerspelling, as there aren't direct signs for names, until you get a personalized nick by an ASL friend or acquaintance. Here is how Megan is done (all of this is with your dominant hand): M - Make a fist, put your thumb under your first three fingers so it peeks out above the pinky. E - Bend all of your fingers and your thumb at their middle joint and point the tips of your fingers and thumb into your palm. G - Curl all but your pointer and thumb into a fist. Hold your pointer and thumb parallel to each other and pointing towards your other arm. The thumb is behind your pointer finger as your pointer faces the person you're signing to. A - Make a fist with the thumb on the outside of your fingers out to the side and pointing straight up. The rest of your fingers point towards the ground. N - Make a fist with your thumb under your first two fingers so it peeks out above your ring finger.

its the finger right next to your thumb

3 fingers should be extended on the right hand. The thumb and little finger (pinky) should be curved in and overlapping. The Cub Scout salute uses two fingers, the pointer and middle.

On your left hand you press down the keys under your middle and ring fingers, and the thumb key. On your right hand you press down the keys under your pointer, middle, and ring fingers.

with two fingers (preferably your pointer and thumb) pink at the bottom area of the contact. Then pull out and the contact should be between your fingers.

Nerve issues are a common cause of numbness in the left thumb, or in the fingers. Nerves can also cause a tingling sensation in the fingers as well.

Right hand: Thumb up, pointer finger makes a "B" with the thunb. middle finger stays straight up to make the "L". ring finger curls around onto the middle finger to make an "O". Left hand: thumb and pointer finger makes a "D" by putting pointer finger halfway down thumb. Middle finger curls around onto the curled pointer finger to make the "O". Put the two "O" 's together. =)

I: Have your right hand clenched into an easy fist, with your pinking sticking out. Place the front of your hand (where your curled thumb and pointer finger are) on your chest. At the same time, your pinky finger should be pointing at your chin. Like: Place your right hand, which is flat, close to your chest. Make it look like you're grabbing your shirt with your middle finger and thumb, but don't actually pull your shirt. And pull your hand away from your chest, with your middle finger and thumb together. Your: Point to the person you're talking to with your pointer finger. Name: Take both of your hands, have your pointer finger next to the middle finger pointing them straight out. Your other fingers will be curled into your palm. (Picture this as your hand is clenched in a fist, with your two pointer fingers and middle fingers pointed out, together.) Then, turn your hands sideways and tap the side of your right middle finger on top of the side of your left pointer finger.

whit you hands or... First: the word your, is an open hand toward the person your talking about. kind of like you want to push them (but dont do that). and this is with your dominant hand (if your a righty or lefty) if your right handed, your left hand is in a fist with your pointer finger up. pointing towards the sky. then your right hand is in the F hand shape, which is your thumb and pointer finger touching, and other fingers spread out. you basically tug upwards on your left pointer finger with your right thumb and pointer finger. if your a left, reverse it. kinda difficult to explain through text..

It is held vertically with your right thumb under the thumb rest on the back and left had on top. The Left thumb controls the octave key on the back of the top stack. Revise your question. (The Index finger IS your pointer finger) If you mean between the middle and index fingers, then yes, it is the letter T in sign language.

With pointer finger up and hand facing you, move your hand in a circle. With palm down and thumb and little/pinkey fingers out - other fingers down, move hand forward and away from you.
