The warning light will stay on, in your 2003 Ford expedition, when there is an issue with the traction control system. A diagnostic tester will pinpoint the problem.
Either your Traction Control is turned off or there is a problem with the system.
This is the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) also called Traction Control. The light will come on briefly when one or more of the tires on your vehicle loose traction. It will also come on and stay on if you turn the traction control off. If the traction control is on and the light stays lit all the time, then there is a problem with the system. Seek professional help.
There is a push button on the shifter right where your thumb is, that is the trac button. Under normal driving conditions keep it off. Turn it on when it is wet or snowing for better traction control. If you have problems with your abs the light may stay off permanently as the traction control feature is actually the automatic application of the brakes to maintain even traction between the drive wheels.
There is a problem with a speed sensor. Go to a repair shop and have it diagnosed.jd
The yellow warning symbol is your traction control. It will come on temporarily if you have poor traction, or if you disable traction control by pressing the DSC button, it will stay lit until you turn traction control back on, or you turn the car off.
This warning light on the Audi A4 is for the traction control system. Usually it will turn on when the car is started and stay on for a couple of seconds. It flashes when the traction control system is activated while the car is in motion. If the light is continuously on, it means that the system is turned off or that a fault has occurred.
Probably a bad front wheel bearing/hub assembly with the abs sensor in it
Electronic Stability Program AKA Traction control - you can manually switch on and off the traction control with the switch. Bascially when the ESP senses a wheel loosing grip, it cuts power until it stops - you will see a yellow light flash on the dashboard. You should see the same light come on and stay on when you switch off the ESP.
one of your front wheel bearings is bad. they are a hub assembly with an abs wire when one goes bad it will shut the abs and traction system off.
A bad ABS module will make your traction light stay on in your VW Caddy.
Bad traction control module--bad wiring at the module or a bad pin on the module control connector. Also you might try this remove the traction control module connector and reseat it . It may take 2 or three times of doing this but it worked on mine . Question --does your battery light stay on ?? and then after a few seconds goe off?? if so then definitely try this. I spent over a thousand dollars trying to fix mine before I reseated the connector .
