All plants use photosynthesis as a means of food production. They also all have their cells surrounded by cell walls in place of cell membranes. Plants also have large vacuoles in their cells, and all of them have chloroplasts (which is what makes them green). Like animals, plants also typically have mitochondria, a nucleus, endoplasmic reticulum, and all the other features of a typical eukaryotic cell.
