Mix equal parts of Red and Blue. The color violet is sometimes the same as purple, but can be a deeper shade of blue.
A muddy brown color is the color you get when you mix purple and green. To make purple you can mix red and blue, and to make green you can mix yellow and blue. However, when secondary colors like purple and green are mixed together. But it generally creates a brown hue.
Mix red and blue, preferably in equal parts, to get violet; if this is the purple you are looking for, leave it, but if it is not, simply add a very small amount of white (tinting) to the violet to get "purple". You can also add black to shade the violet or purple if it is too light.
a secondary color for instance mixing blue, and orange make brown... i think brown is an intermidiate colour anyway... right?? Red, Blue and yellow are the 3 primary colors.
