on the 92 and 93 it is color beige!
To replace it:
the fuse box is located behind the ashtray. You have to remove the ashtray and you will see a bunch of relays in there. you can then pull that tray out to access the relays easier.
After you remove the ashtry, pul the lighter, pull the cover of the lighter, remove two Philips screws and remove the box above the ashtray.
the fuel pump relay will be the one on the second row,far left side.
If the relay is not supplying power to the fuel pump, then no fuel to the motor. No fuel - no power.
fuel pump is under the car on the drivers side under the rear seat. the fuel pump relay is under the foot kick pad on the passenger side, white in color and usually hanging on a bracket volvodoctor

Either the fuel pump itself is defective, the fuse is blown, or the fuel pump relay is defective.

The fuel pump reset switch in a 1994 Volvo 940 is located under the hood. The relay will be in the fuse box.
the fuel pump relay can be found up under the dash board on the passenger side of the car. O.E.M. units are white.

Fuel Injection Relay is relay E on the fuse block behind the ash tray Radio Supression Relay (What a name for a fuel pump relay) on top of the right fender by the coolant tank.
I suspect you have a short in the related wiring harness.
That is the Fuel Injector relay and not the Fuel Pump relay. it's located in the fuse box (engine compatment)you will have to remove a cover once it's opened it's the relay # 103(it's a green relay).
fuel pump relay is located behind the ashtray and fuse box, in the relay panel. its white. u simply pull it out and push the new 1 in.
