Ferrets also have very poor depth perception and many have been injured climbing onto high places and falling. If you notice that a ferrets eyes are all black, they have better vision in the dark from their ancestors that lived in burrows in the ground. Ferrets are very poor at judging distance.

Ferret eyes are black. Albino ferrets eyes are pink due to the lack pigmentation in its flesh or eyes. The eyes are opaque, but appear to be pink due to the fact that it is blood that is seen behind the eyes.

Mine is really cool. Roger has one red eye and one black eye. Most ferrets have red or black eyes. I haven't seen any brown or blue eyes so I guess it's only red and black. Mine is cool. Roger has red and black eyes. My white one has red eyes and my brown and white one has black eyes. I have never seen a ferret with blue or black eyes so I'm guessing there are only red and black eyes.

Also, I'm seeing it very common that all my three completely white ferrets (with occasional black or brown spots) have red eyes and all my other ferrets had black.
