Cocc offers massage therapy program. It is a two year degree. Also lane community college offers the same type program, also for two year degree.
I do not believe there is a community college offering massage, but you might try: The Body Institute located in the northern California community of Granite Bay, or the, Heartwood Institute, 220 Harmony Lane, Garberville, CA 95542.

reflexology training is offered at some community colleges or schools of massage therapy. if searching at a community college be sure to check the "continuing education" section as well as certificate training.
The best way to start is to get at least 500 hours of training and education at an American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) approved school. Then obtain a license to practice massage therapy in your area. In most places in the US, this requires a certification exam. The ones used most often are the NCETMB given by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the MBLEx given by the Federation of Massage Therapy Boards.
You can do an accelerated program that will finish in 2 years. Many online and community colleges offer accelerated programs.

Massage therapy license are only for the state you take them in. It's best to take the national certification test so you are certified in all 50 states.

Yes it is very required. You are going to need to make sure that you know what you are doing before you get your certification. You can't get your license unless you have all of your requirements met and that includes schooling.
