Many microbes like warm damp conditions. However, certain types are called "extremeophiles" because they thrive under conditions that few other living organisms could tolerate: water just under the boiling point, for example.

Bacteria thrive in warm temperatures, especially those close to body temperature. Bacteria need water to grow and will die without a water source. The presence of oxygen can greatly affect the growth of bacteria.

Depends on the particular microbe. Although, for most, it is between 20-40C, open to air, so that oxygen is present for aerobic respiration (respiration with air) and carbon dioxide can be removed (by diffusion), sugars or carbohydrates present (also for use in respiration), proteins and other essential substances such as water and mineral ions. I think that that is all.

Yeast needs warmth, food and moisture to grow while bacteria needs warmth, food , correct ph,oxygen, and time to grow. Moulds need warm, moist conditions and viruses need time and opportunity for the conditions to be right for them to thrive.

What is microbes and what is thermophilic and mesophilic microbes?

Microbes are organisms that are composed of only one solitary cell or a cell which lives in a colony with other cells. Thermophilic microbes are organisms that prefer to live in areas with a temperature that is higher than the normal.Mesophilic are these microbes that prefer areas with moderate temperature.

What can you give a seed to keep healthy?

A seed can be stored in healthy conditions under low temperature and low humidity in air tight containers to avoid the attack of microbes and insects.

What are Viable microbes?

they are micro organisms produce in naturall conditions

Can you incubate microbes?

yes,We can incubate microbes in an incubator which controls the temperature, humidity or O2 or CO2 level, required for their ultimate growth.

What can microbes do?

There are both harmful and useful microbes. Harmful microbes like bacteria, virus and fungus can cause diseases while some useful microbes like bacteria can help in fermentation process like the yeast or as food like mushroom and many lacobacillus microbes that help in producing vitamins and in synthesis of food. Many microbes help produce antibiotic medicines. Microbes like algae are edible or help by photosynthesis to maintain the CO2 -O2 balance in the environment.

Do microbes have brain?

Microbes do not have brains but they are like all the other organisms.

Why do apples and bananas ripen not slowly in the fridge?

The temperature in the cabinet is higher than in refrigerator and fruit tend to ripen faster in hotter temperatures. Those fruits which are placed in refrigerator are at temperature lower than the room temperature and do not ripen that fast

How should foods be cooked?

Food should be cooked by heat which can be any type of cooking method like grilling, boiling, etc. The advantage of doing this is to kill harmful microbes in the food. High temperature(heat)=killing harmful microbes.

What factors influence the action of microbial agents?

The number of microbes and the nature of microbes in population. Other factors include the temperature and pH of the environment, the concentration of a agent, and the mode of action of a agent.
