if it's his problem with the fact the others are going to kill the baby(Gabe) then the solution is him taking Gabe and running away.

If it's the problem of getting the rest of the community to feel emotions and pain and everything, then there also isn't much of a solution. Jonas takes Gabe and runs away from the community, leaving the Giver to stay and comfort the community when all of the memories given to Jonas leak out to the people in the community.
