Ada Lovelace (1815-1852) was an English mathematician and writer chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbage's Analytical Engines. She wrote what is now recognized as the first algorithm intended to be processed by a machine, and is therefore considered the first programmer.
She was born The Honourable Augusta Ada Byron to George Gordon Byron (6th Baron Byron) and Anne Isabella Milbanke (11th Baroness Wentworth). She married William King-Noel (1st Earl of Lovelace) and became Augusta Ada King (Countess of Lovelace), but is better known as Ada Lovelace.
She is credited as having worked together with Charles Babbage and have written the first computer program ever. There is a "modern" programming language named ADA for her.
She made the analytical engine.
Writing the first program codes. However as the machine they were for, Babbage's Analytical Engine, was never built she never got to run them.
Ada was the daughter of George Byron, more commonly known as the poet Lord Byron.
Lady Augusta Ada Byron is thought to be the world's first computer programmer. She created an algorithm that was used in Charles Babbage's Analytic machine.
Apparently there were several illegitimate half-siblings, but she was the only legitimate child of the poet Lord Byron.
