There is aleak somewhere: Look under the car for signs of oil leaks. Look in the engine compartment to see if you see fresh oil. Get under the stopped - engine off- car and see if you see anywhere where the oil is dripping. Wipe the bottom and the oil pan with a rag to help you see. Your oil filter may be incorrectly mounted. Its gasket may have fialed or incorreclty mounted - or the old one was not removed. Finally, it could be that its burning oil, but that is not usually this bad.
