What could be the problem with a 1994 Chevy Cavalier Z24 if the turn signals will not blink unless you click the wand manually and all bulbs are fine and there is a new blinker switch?
Defective Flasher Relay. Replace it.
What causes a blinker relay on a 1999 Chevy Tahoe to go off like the turn signals are on but are not?
I trired swapping with a friend's who has the same relay and I have the same problem..
Check the relay. Turn signals work off of a flasher. Replace the flasher they are usually cheap. If that does not fix it check the signal switch. That is the thing that you use to turn on the turn signals. That is usually the problem.
A burnt out signal bulb, a faulty blinker relay, a faulty blinker switch, a loose connection or a broken wire are all things that can cause the turn signals not to operate properly.
There is no way you can turon signal/blinker in gta 4 as the other cars have. Only the getaway car had signals other cars dont have signals. You can turn the headlights on or off during the day and choose b/w high and dim in the night.
97 Pontiac Sunfire with a rear right blinker problem I have replaced the bulb. The brake lights work tail lights work hazards work but the right blinker isn't working. Checked fuse also fine?
try replacing the flasher. there should be two, one for flashers and one for turn signals
What would cause the turn signals on a 1999 Mercury Cougar to not blink consistently and sometimes not at all?
I had the same problem in my 1999 Mercury Cougar, I replaced the flasher located in the blinker assembly. It was very simple to do. Flasher cost about $10
Black=Ground Purple=blinker Blue=light+brake
Check the Flasher, its usually located under the dashboard on the drivers side. its the thing that makes the clicking noise when you use your turn signals. Go to your local auto parts store and tell them about your blinker not working, they can help you get the correct flasher and tell you where its located. Be aware some vehicles have two of them. If this isn't your problem, make sure all your bulbs are… Read More
Why might the turn signals not work on an '86 F150 when all bulbs fuses flasher have been replaced and in-stalk contacts are clean?
be sure you are getting current on both sides of your turn signal switch when you turn on the blinker. This could be the problem.
Generally, the tail "light" and the tail light "blinker" are two different bulbs. Check the blinker bulb first. If it is OK, then it is likely a fuse to a flasher unit.
I had this problem also, it started out with both turn signals would blink really slow, speed up, or just stop while I still had them engaged. After a month or so they stopped working all together along w/ my hazards. I had to have the relay replaced which entailed a new "blinker switch" that also is home to the cruise control functions. The part (which includes the necessary wiring) was around $110.00.
im having a similar problem. but NONE of the back lights work. i checked the fuses - all good. then i moved to the bulbs. i changed the blinker bulbs on all 4 lights and that fixed the blinker problem. im still having a reverse light and emergency flasher problem, though. im going to change the rest of the bulbs first, to see if that fixes the problem. if its not the bulbs or fuses… Read More
Flasher and fuse
The bulb is bad. Turn signals and flashers use different bulbs.
You probably have a bulb out. Remember, the rear has two blinker bulbs
Turn signals are mounted on a Chevy Cavalier just like a regular head lamp is. The difference between the units is the bulbs are smaller. Open the hood and find the lamp brackets. Unplug the old brackets and connect the new bulbs.
1 fuse for all turn signals-try replacing bulb
One of the bulbs is burned out. Turn on the blinker and look at the front and back turn signals to find out which one.
Answer To fix it do this : say the drivers side blinker goes on and does not flash. Well then you have either the front or rear blinker burned out. Thx KB There's the possibility of burned bulbs, but if both sides fail to blink, replace the flasher unit.
Blinkers (also known as turn signals) do not have or use any sort of fluid. They are lights, powered by your car's electrical system and battery.
Replace the flasher or blinker relay. Depending on vehicle it's under the dash, in the fusebox or somewhere close to it.
replace the rear bulb if one side is out, if you had a bad fuse none of your turn signals would work.
u can check the fuses in the left front fuse box under the hood but from the looks of the wiring diagram its not a fused circuit the [ front sam ] which is the left front fuse box assembly thats what controls the turn signals check the hazzard lights if they work ur problem might be in the blinker stalk even though the other stalk functions work
You have no signals and your tranny wants to start in third gear You can shift it manually and it works?
most likely mozelator valve
have you checked your fuses?
Perhaps you need to check a fuse.
They are not controlled, but the engine computer reads their out put signals.
Why do the fuses keep blowing as soon as the turn signals or hazards are engaged on a 1997 Chevy Full Size Van?
Sounds like a short in your blinker circuit. There could be a cracked or damaged wire somewhere between your lamps and the fuse box, a damaged bulb, or a bad blinker relay. You can trace the problem using a multimeter. You might be able to reduce your troubleshooting in half by noting if its the left or right side turn signal that blows your fuse and work on only that side. Good luck.
The flasher for turn signals in located on the fuse block. The fuse block is on the bottom of the dash to the right of the steering column.
If the rightleft blinker switch stops working in a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire but the hazard lights still work is it a fuse problem with the blinker or do you need to replace the whole blinker-headlight swi?
Answer Does that switch also control the cruise control, the headlights and the headlight dimmer on that model? If so, it sounds to me like you might have to replace the whole switch. There's an earlier thread here that describes that job. It's not too bad a job. The last switch I replaced cost me about $60 US. make sure it is not just a burned out bulb. blinker bulbs have 2 fillaments, one for… Read More
probably your blinker switch (multi-accessory switch). The high mount brake light is wired directly from the switch on the pedal but the rear two lights are wired through the pedal switch and then through the the blinker switch on the steering column. Almost all of those blinker switches go bad.
Why do your front turn signals not blink and your rear turn signals wont light up at all the bulbs are fine 1999 883 XLH?
Try the blinker relay. My brother has a Honda that did the same thing and that's all it was. Should be just a plug in relay switch.
Brake lights out on 1997 Suburban fuse is good Tail lights turn signals and hazard lights work I checked the fuse its good?
check the brakelight switch. it is located under the dash where the brake pedal rests. Hey its ritchie. If you can click your blinker down and then they work its you blinker switch, but this is my monte.
no ASL or american sign language is a unique language of its own. It is separate from the English language. Manually coded English is a form to fit hand signals with the english word. I hope that helped
What is wrong with the lights on a 92 cadillac sts if the front headlights work but and the tailights but not the brake lights or the blinker?
THERE IS A BREAK SWITCH FOR BREAK LIGHTS , THERE IS A FLASHER FOR TURN SIGNALS . THERE IS A SEPERATE FUSE FOR EACH . SINCE YOU SAY YOUR PROBLEM IS IN THE BACK I ASSUME THE FRONT SIGNAL WORK THAT ELIMINATES THE FLASHER AND FUSE , SO RIGHT NOW I SAY LIGHT BULBS .
A common problem.I hope you mean lights on the dash & no signals outside the car.Simple blown bulb or bulb not making contact inside the socket.I've done this on many of my cars.
u need to replace flasher unit under dash.... this is not to be mistaken for fuse! guy at parts counter will know what it is... it is what makes the blinker noise...
I would check the blinker bulbs on the side that doesn't blink (front & back). If neither side is working, there is a round chrome blinker fuse, located under the dash board close to the fuse box,it's width is about the size of a half dollar. If that doesn't solve your problem, then it most likely will be either in the wiring or the switch. If it is in wiring or switch,I advise you to take it to… Read More
If the turn signals and emergency signals don't workout sounds like an electrical problem's would suggest that you take it into the closest shop to get the problem diagnosed properly.
you need a new flasher for your singal lights.
see similar question for a 2000 cavalier which is what i have and i bet they are similar procedure may also be in the owners manual if you have one it is on page 6.36 in the 2000 owners manual and under bulb replacement in the index

A bad ground wire is the most common cause of turn signals and brake lights not working. The ground wire connection might be corroded.
Why don't my turn signals on my 97 dodge avenger work all the fuses are fine and the hazards are working?
I sprayed WD-40 into the blinker hole on my steering column of my 1985 Sentra and they have worked ever since.
Hazard and turn signals usually use separate flashers, switch the flashers to see if turn signals work and hazards don't, if so replace the flasher you need to replace the blinker flasher unit it is different from the hazard unit they cost about 4 bucks the flasher unit is the big round thing in the fuse panel in the dashboard
How do you troubleshoot and fix turn signals and emergency flasher problem on a 1999 Mercury Cougar?
check the recalls there is something in there about tail light and signals
Good news! That's not a problem. They're supposed to be curved.
Sexual stimulation, most often manually but sometimes through unconscious mental signals, can incite pre-ejaculate to be released from the penis.
Your problem is most likely the turn signal relay im having a problem similar to yours but when my signals wont work neither do my hazards
