A Volkswagen Jetta radiator fan is controlled by a fan relay. If the relay malfunctions the fan could either stay on or not work at all. An engine diagnostic would be recommended.

It could be the keyswitch or the starter solenoid.
There are many things that could be causing a loss of power. Some of the main things would be damaged wiring, drained battery, bad starter, bad alternator and bad solenoid.

could be a bad plug
your horn is not working, the alarm has a different horn.
I just had a similar problem on my 2003 jetta. They replaced the bulbs and it turns out to be a faulty break light switch as well. Make sure to get it checked ASAP otherwise your shifter could get stuck in park.
Could be your timing belt.
Most likely it's a CV joint.
Headbanging can cause serious brain damage with prolonged use. I would believe it could.
