What could cause a 1971 Chevelle Malibu to start but doesn't shut off when you replaced the ignition switch but nothing changed Besides the whole ignition system what else could it be?
Something is keeping power to the ignition coil. You need a wiring schematic and trace the wiring.
Why won't 95 Dodge Dakota start changed ignition coil crank shaft sensor cam shaft sensor gettig fuel ok?
1971 Chevelle Malibu starts but doesnt shut off you replaced the ignition switch but nothing changed Besides the whole ignition system what else could it be?
Sounds like a short circuit to me. You are getting power to the coil when the ignition is off, so you'll need to track down where the power is getting to the coil lead when the switch is off. If you have added an electronic tach, MSD box, or anything else, remove their wires and see if you still have power at the coil. Also check the starter solenoid (and the wiring that goes to…
What is cause of 1994 Fore E150 with 5.0L engine when it boggs down after having changed the fuel pump filter and ignition module. Also did major tune and replaced the pcm.?
If you lost the keys and you can prove that you are the titled owner. The Chrysler dealer can order an ignition key with the VIN number. You may have to have the door locks replaced, if the door key is different from the ignition key. If that fails, try an auto electric shop to get the locks changed, maybe even a locksmith.
did you changed your thermostat? You MUST keep around 195 degree thermostat in the vehicle at ALL TIMES due to the computer system. The ignition module usually gets hot due to corroded electrical connections at the ignition module and or the module is HEAT SENSITIVE and needs to be replaced. (plug wires) Ignition misfire can produce a variety of driveability symptoms including hard starting, rough idle, hesitation....
I have replaced the ignition coil ignition module the distributor cap and the rotor and my 1979 full size Bronco still won't start No fire to the coil can be detected?
2000 Chevy astro starter engages while running changed starter still doing same thing except in drive and reverse?
Where could you find a diagram for repairing ignition switch on 2000 Chevy Impala with 34 LT engine that remote was lost causing it to lockup?
Ignition switch doesn't lock up if you lose remote. Your problem is a bad ignition lock set and not the ignition switch it self. There are 2 pieces to the set up, 1 is the lock and 2 is the switch. If your key can go in and turn to the "acessories" or "on" position, then it can de replaced rather easily. If your key can't turn at all or won't go in,(lock set) it…
On 93 Grand Am what could cause the crank sensor and ignition module go out when you replace your starter and ignition switch-entire steering wheel?
so you replaced your entire steering wheel and switch and that did not work and was told you needed a starter. The starter was replaced and that did not work. Now it is the crank sensor and ignition module. Not sure of the symptoms, you were not spacific.... Maybe you just need to reprogram the Passlock Anti-theft system to recognize the new key. If you attempt to start the vehicle with a key that it…
1992 buick lesabre runs fine you shut it off then 30 mins later it stalls a half mile down the road maf cps vss sensors all changed?
we had the same problem. we changed the Crankshaft Position sensor, and also the camshaft position sensor. changed ignition coils, and the module under the ignition coil, and still had the stalling problem. an auto mechanic bought it from us and he discovered all that it was was a pinched wire under the ignition module.
My fingers slipped of the key when I tried to start it and now theres no power to the the ignition I changed the starter battery and the ignition switch and still nothing What could it be?
1989 Buick century starts hard and when driving stalls changed fuel filter fuel pump crank sensor ignition coil modular what else?
I'm in the same position with a '93 century, had the same problem with my old '89 olds cutlass with the 3.3 or 3300 motor. the best I can tell so far is that one of the parts previously replaced is bad (you can get the ignition modular checked at O'Reillys or simillar) or there is a short somewhere in the wiring - posibly the fuel pump or ignition systems. Sorry that's where I'm at.
Under the reign of Edward VI the churches changed. He changed the interior of the church from stone to wood, removed all crosses, replaced stain glass to plain glass, changed robes and replaced statues with the coat of arms. He did this because he felt the churches needed to simpler unlike the Catholic churches.
